Where would we be without bad news in Iraq?
Interesting that the BBC says Bush's re-election chances are faltering. No doubt this is going to hurt him, but is it really enough to stop the insanity?
(Like I said before, what's going on in Iraq is increasingly looking like a total fuckup. But does the average American still buy the party line? I'm not sure.)

i don't know if it is possible to overstate the importance of that quote ('bad people have parties too'), but i'll be sure to do my fucking share. that should be the title of this whole disastrous shindig. we should start a betting pool right now, see how long it takes for a book titled 'bad people have parties too' to hit shelves. any takers?
