so, after months, i finally found a program that allows me to rip songs off my ipod as mp3, and add them to an itunes library on a different computer. the search was long and difficult and i have no desire to do it again.
m.r. sutter alluded to a program that allows you to rip mp3 over a network (at work, i can view and listen to several people's libraries, provided they are online and have ok'ed sharing). does this sound vaguely familiar or possible to anyone?

This should work for you assuming you're using a Mac. There's another one for PC, but i can't remember it off the top of my head. Lemme know if you need a PC program.

The PC program is called "MyTunes Redux", and is available here.
I'm pretty sure i am, but there's a nagging suspicion that there's something i'm supposed to be doing that day that i've completely forgotten about. For the time being, though, count me in.

i couldn't figure out how to summarize "stealing music from students on school's network program" in a google-able phrase.
but, 'my tunes' lead me to 'our tunes,' which is a vastly superior program. anyone that wants to steal music from student's on the school's network should use it.

Sadly, there are only two shared libraries on my subnet, and they're all full of nothing but bad R&B...
Perhaps i should open a socket to my network frame router and forward it to my mobile. If 24 has tought me anything, just saying that will make awesome computer shit happen.
