These stats be off the chain, yo...

Whatever the vernacular is now, it's rare that i see a console that has a potential to do everything right right out of the gate. XBOX 360 might do just that.

Uh, I'd kind of hope we'd be seeing those stats from all three systems. You know, them being the next generation and all.

Of course, looking deeper, I see the part that probably excites you the most is that they are using the old disc format. That means quicker piracy for you, doesn't it?

zargon, the longer you nurse it, the harder your affection for nintendo will die. i buried mine in a shoebox, between the baby spinach and caged plants. it was hard, sure, but the moral of the story is that mutli-player halo 2 is awesome.

I was more talking about the fact that there's going to be built-in live support for free, and supposedly support for wireless controllers out of the box (although the system won't come with the controllers themselves)...they basically took all of the good "extra" things about the first system, and included them for free in the second. Good idea, that.

You'll have to forgive me my condescension but I'm having a bad day: what exactly is it doing right, beyond having a faster processor and a better video card?

Holy shit, it can play photo CDs.

Yeah, wireless controllers are really the way to go. Unless for some strange reason you really enjoy being constrained. Having them out of the box will definitely be nice.
