Christensen also confirmed recently that Lucas got a helping hand with the script for Revenge of the Sith. In an interview with Playboy, he said the rumours about playwright Tom Stoppard working on the dialogue for the film are true.
Stoppard, known for stage works like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, gave the Lucas-penned screenplay a more "human" dimension, Christensen said.

Yeah, joel was telling me this the other day...I love that lucas needs help to make his characters sound "human"...
Not that the "love story" in Ep. II wasn't heart-wrenching...it was, but probably for different reasons than intended.
Feez, you're confusing "heart-wrenching" for "gut-wrenching" again. You really need to get those sorted out.

Actually, i *did* do some writing for leno, now that you mention it. Those "Jay walking" bits, where they interview idiots on the street? that was all me.
Yeah, all I can figure is that either:
1 - Lucas let his ego get in the way of crediting another writer and admitting he can't write human dialog worth shit.
2 - Stoppard was too ashamed to admit he worked on a Star Wars film.
Both seem relatively far-fetched (well, maybe not the ego one), but why the hell wouldn't you make the point that you have an amazing writer working on your films?
