Dear sirs

On a twenty-sided die, the odds of rolling a 19-20, then a 19-20 again, and finally a 18-20 are:

1 in 666.6
(that is, 2/20 * 2/20 * 3/20)

This is a little more probable than getting dealt a full house in poker. The implications of this are left as an exercise for the reader.

by the rules, klimas, your math is wrong. in order to achieve an "instant kill," you must roll 2 consecutive 20s. then you must confirm the double 20s with any hit (in feez's case, an 18-90-20).

so what you have is: 1/20*1/20*3/20, or 3 in 8000, or 1 in 2666.6666->

or

.000375

in five card stud, your odds of drawing a full house are .00144. in five card stud, your odds of drawing a four of a kind are .000240.

you have a better chance by far of drawing a full house in stud then killing general byron is such a fashion again. or, every time you throw a dagger through byron's neck, some flat-ass gets dealt a four of a kind.

That was the number I originally got, but then Feezer claimed he only needed two 19-20s to pull it off. I stand corrected.

Wait, so you're upset that i took 2 items of the 4, one of which you couldn't use, and the other of which boosts my attack to something that isn't even equal to your base attack bonus?

That makes perfect sense to me!
