Denmark jails 'racist' pizza man
Aage Bjerre acted in protest against the French and German governments' opposition to the US-led war in Iraq.
He will now serve an eight-day sentence at a minimum security prison, the Associated Press reports.
"I'm doing it to show my sympathy with the United States," he said. He refused to pay a 5,000-kroner (£461;$800) fine.
there is scant a literati who hasn't griped about the pervasive missaplication of quotes, that's for sure. but when a british journalist puts racism in quotes to describe anti-german and -french sentiment, be sure that they are used quite intentionally.

That's impressive that you can actually be briefly jailed for 'racism' in Denmark. I guess too many US social interactions would end in arrests if that were true here...
You ever notice that in the days we only have one posting, it usually garners a ton of comments, yet in the days with multiple front-page posts, we get almost no comments? What does that say about things?
