Google is watching you...

So apparently the latest addition to Google Maps is a "satellite" button, which you can use to view your directions as pictures from a satellite, as opposed to just a boring old map. Kindof kitch, kindof neat.

Looks like it uses the same ol' satellite images that MapQuest has been using for years...

apparently, the last time a satellite took a picture of baltimore was 10 years ago. either that or the charles street bridge blew up yesterday and i didn't hear about it.
