as team philly (bolstered by team baltimore) failed to be randomly selected for a slot in the philly film challenge, our joined forces were left to their own devices. it took until late saturday afternoon, but we devised a refreshingly non-slamm-oriented mission for ourselves. 6 filmmakers wrote a one-line concept on a slip of paper, dropped it in a hat, and away we went. 6 one-minute films in 1.25 of a weekend. a slight catch: each film must seque from the film before it and into the film after it. alex, a young'un from kutztown u., is the first to fully edit his film based on a concept submitted by yours truly: 'an immortal being receives a visit/phone call from an angry/violent person.' please view it here at your earlier convenience.
